Teardrops working to feed children in St Helens

October 13, 2020TeardropsBlogNo Comments

Throughout this pandemic Teardrops has been working tirelessly to support the people of St Helens. We are continuing to see an increase in demand on our service. Thankfully, because of our volunteers and committed staff we have risen to the challenge and continue to meet demand.

Since September we have been working in partnership with St Helens Council to ensure children who are having to self isolate are provided with food throughout the time they have to self isolate. So far we have provided 250 food parcels to children throughout the borough.

If you would like to donate food items to us we are specifically looking for the following items:

  •  Tinned or packet foods
  • Rice or pasta
  • Malt loaf
  • Small cartons of juice
  • Jelly pots
  • Custard
  • Rice pudding
  • Instant mash
  • Tinned fruit
  • Pasta sauce
  • Curry sauce

We accept donations Monday – Friday between the hours of 10 and 3.30pm.
